BOOK THE BAND
Once you have decided that Freshman Year are the band for you Tailored Entertainment will send a booking contract to you to confirm the booking. The contract features all the important details for the event and once you have signed, the band will sign a copy and confirm the booking in their diary. We ask for a deposit (The deposit varies depending on the total price) to secure the booking, with the balance payable by bank transfer seven days ahead of the day.
PLANNING
In the lead up to your party you are very welcome to contact us any time to discuss the plan for the evening. Around four weeks before the day the experienced team at Tailored Entertainment will contact you to go over the final details - timings, set preferences, song requests for the disco or DJ, final payment details etc. All of the details will be recorded and sent to the band in one simple final confirmation email, so you can be sure nothing will get missed and everything discussed will happen as planned on the night.
ON THE NIGHT
Freshman Year will arrive fully self-contained with PA, lighting and pre-mixed disco (or a band member can DJ if you add this to your booking) and will perform 2 hours of live music (2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets). The band will cover your whole evening of entertainment so you don't need to hire a separate DJ or any additional equipment.
A guide to a standard evening party would be:
- 17:30 - Band Arrive
- 19:00 - Background Music On For Welcome Drinks
- 20:00 - First Set (60 mins)
- 21:00 - Disco/DJ (ideal time for buffet if you’re having one, and if it’s a birthday, perfect time for doing the cake!)
- 22:00 - Second Set (60 mins)
- 23:00 - Disco/DJ Until Close
Timings are flexible to suit your needs and live sets can be split 3 x 40 mins if you prefer. Freshman Year’s standard price is based on them arriving at 17:00 earliest and finishing as late as 00:00. For an early arrival or late finish outside of these times, there is an additional charge.
The band are very happy to perform a special request for you as long as they have at least three weeks’ notice of the song choice.
